What fascinates you about the legal profession?
What fascinates me most about the legal profession is its diversity. It offers insights into a wide range of legal fields, industries and areas of life, while constantly presenting new questions and challenges. Every case brings its own complexities and requires not only legal expertise but also analytical thinking, creativity and an understanding of the people and interests involved.
What are your expectations for your internship?
I would like to gain practical experience in different areas of law and discover which fields and aspects of legal practive suit me best. I also look forward to exploring the legal profession beyond traditional legal work, gradually taking on more responsibility and developing both professionally and personally.
What tasks can you perform as a trainee lawyer, and what do you learn from them?
At Streichenberg, trainee lawyers are involved in client matters from an early stage and are encouraged to work independently and take responsibility. In addition to conducting legal research and drafting legal submissions, we have the opportunity to contribute our own ideas, interact with clients and authorities, and gain experience across a wide range of legal fields. In doing so, we learn to approach legal issues from a practical perspective and progressively take on greater responsibility.
What expects junior associates at Streichenberg?
Trainees at Streichenberg are not assigned to just one partner; instead, they can get involved in all areas and are actively encouraged and guided. This gives them a broad insight into the different fields and activities. They have contact with clients and authorities, learn what is needed for a court brief, and how to compose a successful legal document. This requires a desire to learn, flexibility, and absolute reliability.
